This topic on managing the relationship with self and others. This was one of the topics highlighted which was a need for working moms in our survey for the impact of the pandemic on working moms. According to our survey, 52% of working mothers are working more than before, which will cause a higher level of stress and fatigue. Throughout history, women are more known as the world’s best jugglers between family, work and community compared to men. Women are especially challenged in their multiple roles as wife, parent, daughter/daughter in law and employee/manager, taking on a lot of responsibilities and often this can leave women feeling overstretched and stressed out. Although this topic is a need for working moms, what we will be covering is for all couples and parents.Â
In this brief session our speaker, Miyen will share some key techniques/practices on managing the relationship with self and others (as a couple and a parent), to empower both women and men in developing self and relationships effectiveness in handling their individual, family and workplace challenges and to live a life that we love, have meaningful family relationships and social connections in spite of this pandemic.
Join Miyen, a clinical psychologist and Mindful Self-Compassion Trained Teacher, who has conducted more than 1000 training for the workplace in managing stress, preventing burnout and enhancing self-resiliency with a special focus on mindfulness and compassion practices.
